Whitsunday Paradise Explorer is a personalised private boat day tour and charter company who can provide you with unique, memorable experiences in the beautiful Whitsunday Islands without the crowds. Our experience in this region means that we can take you to places unknown to most operators as well as tailoring a day trip to your individual needs.

We specialise in Families, Small Groups and Couples and can take between 2 and 6 people in comfort. You can charter the vessel for your own exclusive use at a very reasonable cost. The price listed is $1648.00 (vessel cost) for a full day out which is 8 hours total for 2 passengers. An extra 4 passengers can also be accommodated for and can be purchased individually at checkout up to a maximum 6 passengers. Whether it is snorkeling, bush walks, exploring the coastline, or just relaxing at your own private beach for the day – we can take you there! Private Charters and Beach Escape Tours include a Gourmet Lunch Hamper and some Champagne.

Cancellation Policy Where a trip is cancelled by Whitsunday Paradise Explorer due to weather, safety issues or unable to achieve minimum bookings, we will either offer a credit for a future booking or will refund, in full, all monies paid. In the event that a booking is cancelled by the charterer or customer, we will refund on the following basis: Outside 30 days from date of charter of a paid deposit or full payment – Full refund of all monies paid. Within 30 days but more than 7 days of charter/trip date – Whitsunday Paradise Explorer reserve the right to retain 50% of deposits paid. If less than 7 days, we reserve the right to retain all of the deposits paid prior (not exceeding 20% of the trip value). Where a cancellation occurs as a direct result of a COVID-19 related border shut-down or flight cancellation, we will either refund any deposit paid or at the guest's discretion, hold the deposit for a future booking date. Cancellations-Guidelines Refunds will be made to the original bank account or credit card provider from where the deposit or fees originated – No cash refunds unless approved by Whitsunday Paradise Explorer.

John Henderson

Your host and skipper, John Henderson, has 19 years’ experience in the Tourism and yacht charter industry in the Whitsundays. His background prior to arriving was one of sales and marketing in New Zealand involved in the office equipment industry for many years as well as a career in new and used boat sales, operating his own successful Power boat retail business with his wife Jacqui. He has sailed extensively with Jacqui, his wife of 26 years, throughout the east coast of Australia as well as in New Zealand and some Pacific Islands. His knowledge of the Whitsunday Islands is extensive as he has always tried to visit a new location whenever he is on the water and knows of some stunning places to visit which are not on the tourist routes.
