5. Speaking of payments, we strive to make the process seamless for you. Charter payments and deposits, excluding our fee, are transferred to your designated bank account overnight.

Charter boat proprietors on the Find Your Boat Platform can anticipate a substantial upsurge in their charter sales. In the initial year alone, they can expect a surge of approximately 20%, and by the second year, this figure can rise to 35%. This growth is facilitated by our state-of-the-art platform, which equips boat owners with the necessary tools to effectively manage their charter boats and directly communicate with potential renters.

Payments made really simple!

How customers pay?

Find Your Boat handles all payments and you will never have to deal directly with money. The hirer will be charged as soon as they make their booking.

How you get paid?

It’s very simple. Your payment is scheduled to start automatically (same day) after the passengers pay us a deposit for the confirmed charter. We will then pay you the customers deposit less our commission fee of 8% direct to your business account. Balance of customers payments for charters is payable 14 days prior to departure. This balance is then transferred via EFT automatically to your business account same day. Customers are Invoiced from the platform with payment links.

Income and fees.

Listing your charter boat on Find Your Boat is free. Find Your Boat only charges owners /operators commission a fee of 8% for each paid charter, which covers our agency commission and merchant transaction fees. The commission fee of 8% is for charter boat operators / owners that look after there own listings and online customer enquiries. Login details and password resets are available on your request. A commission fee of 15% of each charter is paid if the staff at Find Your Boat Australia undertake control of your listing with your approval and we also handle all online customer enquiries, including emails. Booking confirmations are still confirmed with your direct.

Frequently Asked Questions

Customer Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable with Find Your Boat. The customers deposit holds your vessels day and time. Your vessels terms and conditions of bookings are shown to the customer on each vessel listing page, so the customer must agree to each of your boats Terms and Conditions prior to placing an Instant or owner approved booking. Deposits are fully transferable if the customer wants to charter your vessel on any other day, given your availability.

If the customer has paid any charter balance to us and we have paid you via EFT, and they are entitled to a refund, you will need to refund the customer your end. If we hold the funds in our trust account, and the customer is entitled to a refund, Find Your Boat will process the refund on our platform.

I dont have time to list my boat. Can you do it for me?

Yes we can list your charter boat for you. Your passwords will need to be changed once we have listed your boat so then you only have access. (passwords can be changed in the owners profile section) For you to list your own charter boat, you will need to list your boat first. For security purposes, only you will have access to your account. It will not take you long to list your boat since the process is simple and the average time to list is 15 minutes per vessel.

Is listing my charter boat on Find Your Boat a contract?

It is not a contact or binding agreement. You will be able to charter your boats outside the Find Your Boat platform at any time. However, it is important to keep each boats calendar up to date on Find Your Boat for unavailable dates, so that you do not receive booking requests for dates that are already booked. We use Google calendars and the Ical settings, which is very easy to integrate between your Vessels Google calendar and our platform.

Do I need to do anything after listing my charter boat?

We will notify you if any action is required. Every time you have a booking request, and after the amount of the charter has been bound, you will receive an email to confirm the booking.

I only offer one-day cruises, can I list my charter boat?

You can easily specify in your listing that you charter by the hour or use overnight rates. We also have weekend rates and more then 7 hour charters rates.
